I’ve been working on a reality show pilot since August. The show’s called Motorcycle Archaeology, and features a guy named RC and his family in their business of making obsolete motorcycle parts for collectors and enthusiasts all over the world. This involves a bit of research (aka: skavenging), years of old-school manufacturing skill (all the parts are made by hand), and plenty of great stories (all these old bikes have a history). Think American Pickers with a dash of American Chopper and a hint of Antiques Roadshow, though, really, there’s nothing quite like this out there.
I’ve been working through my new production company, coMotion Pictures, as producer, director, editor, motion/still graphic artist, and occasional cameraman. I’ve never been more overwhelmed on a project, but I feel like I’m starting to get on top of it now. In fact, I’ve almost got an early “director’s cut” complete (hopefully by the end of the week!).
More on this as it develops.
W.
